Overview

Enjoy a comfortable round day transfer from Sofia to Plovdiv. The van departs at 9am from the city center of Sofia, behind Alexander Nevksy Cathedral. The traveling time to Plovdiv is about 2 hours. In Plovdiv you will have 4 hours of free time to explore the city on your own pace. The van will leave you in the city center, just next to the main street and to the old town. At 3pm it will take you back to Sofia from the same place and at about 5pm you will return next to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.

Plovdiv Old Town

The old town of Plovdiv is remarkable with its colorful 19-th century Revival houses, some of which work as house museums. It situated on 3 small hills, which are next to each other. From the top of “Nebet” hill, you will be able to see very beautiful panoramic views of the town. In this area is also situated the ancient Roman theater. Usually about 1 hours in enough to explore the old town.
